“I’m so pleased to be returning to Butterfly Soup this February.
A little bit about me…
I live in Wales and my creative work reflects the need in these times for people to come together. My artistic practice is an evolving, collaborative approach which puts ideas around belonging or forming community in the forefront.
Dance movement and the body are my first language and the session will be about forming connection, remembering the body, finding ways to be in the body, and relate to others through the body.
Listening, permission, this moment and “in my own power”, for me dancing moving, friendship and creativity is the answer”
We hope you can join us! 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️
Butterfly Soup with Jo Fong
Butterfly Soup is a creative space for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. We meditate, move, create wonderful things, drink tea, and talk from the heart. It's a safe space that is accepting, nurturing, creative, and BSL accessible. The session is donation based thanks to our funders People’s Health Trust.
People's Health Trust is an independent charity investing in local communities to help create a society without health inequalities through funding, support and using evidence and learning to influence change. It works closely with six Community Interest Companies raising money through The Health Lottery.
Butterfly Soup is part of our funders Active Communities initiative: Active Communities is a funding programme for local people with great ideas about how to help create fairer places to grow, live, work and age well.

FAQ: Tell me more about your connection to the BSL community
We have a strong connection with the British Sign Language (BSL) community and offer BSL-interpreted events and classes to ensure that our programs are accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing. If you require BSL interpretation, please let us know in advance.
