We are proud to announce that we have received funding again to offer our amazing “Butterfly Soup” Project.

Butterfly Soup is a “creative queer space that brings us together, connects us and provides opportunities for us to get creative”. We also welcome LGBTQIA allies.

Cost:
This space is donation-based, via our website. You can select any amount from £0-£5. We want to make sure this space is as accessible as possible.

Ask us questions:
On January 21st at 1-2:30pm you can pop into the studio and ask us questions about the project and all our other provisions.
This is also an opportunity to find the studio, get comfortable in the setting before we kick start the project in February. BSL communication support will be available for the drop-in session.

From SATURDAY, 10 FEB 2024 FROM 11:00-12:30

We are pleased to offer an 8-week introduction course to British Sign Language.

When & Where-
The sessions will be at Ardour Academy, on Saturday Morning 11am-12:30pm.

The sessions will start on the following Saturdays:
10/02 – 16/03

We will offer some donation-based sessions to individuals experiencing extreme financial difficulties. if you believe you’ll need a ‘Hardship pass’ to access this course, please drop our Creative Director, Sara an email on info@ardouracademy.com

FAQ: Tell me more about your connection to the BSL community

We have a strong connection with the British Sign Language (BSL) community and offer BSL-interpreted events and classes to ensure that our programs are accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing. If you require BSL interpretation, please let us know in advance.

*we try to make our classes as inclusive as possible so we are happy to offer hardship passes which will offer free passes to most of our classes for anyone unable to fund their classes. If you have a serious injury or disability, and wish to take part in our classes please let us know and we would be happy to offer a consultation with our director.
