The Julian Martin trio will be hosting a new Jazz Jam session on Thursday at the Ardour Dance Academy on Wellfield Rd, Cardiff.

Music starts at 8.30 til 11.00. £6 entry (online) or £7 on the door.

Description

Julian Martin has been performing as a jazz pianist for longer than he cares to mention, running ensembles, playing cocktail piano in hotel.
Supporting many of the great canon of British jazz musicians including Guy Barker, Alan Barnes, Peter King and Jim Mullen.

He also worked for many years as MD for the Radio Wales comedy show “The LL files”, and now spends his time writing music for film and TV whilst still performing and teaching.

In recent years he has taken up the Trumpet much to the dismay of his immediate family.
